Wednesdays Terms of Use

Welcome to Wednesdays! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain how you can use our services and what you agree to by joining events, memberships, our WhatsApp community, newsletters, or other products (collectively, “Services”).

By using Wednesdays in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

 

1. Who Can Join

  • You must be 18 years or older to use our Services.
     

  • By signing up, you confirm you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
     

 

2. Signing Up for Events

  • Some Services, like events, require registration. Please provide accurate and up-to-date information.
     

  • By signing up for an event, you agree to be added to our newsletter unless you unsubscribe.
     

  • Events are strictly for persons over 18.
     

 

3. Tickets and Refunds

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
     

  • If refunds are allowed, payment processing fees will not be refunded.
     

  • Check the event page for any refund details.
     

 

4. Event Schedule

  • We aim to stick to our planned schedule, but sometimes changes are necessary.
     

  • We reserve the right to cancel, amend, or reschedule events at our discretion.
     

 

5. Memberships

  • Upgrades (more expensive plan or shorter billing cycle) take effect immediately, with prorated credits applied.
     

  • Downgrades (cheaper plan) take effect at the end of your current billing period.
     

  • Free trials: You can redeem a 30-day free trial only once.
     

  • Your first Wednesdays night event without a membership as a trial. After that, a membership is required.
     

  • Frequent cancellations or lapses may result in a temporary or permanent ban.

 

6. Conduct During Events

  • No work-related talk during events — repeated breaches may result in a ban.
     

  • Members must behave respectfully. Discrimination, aggression, or other inappropriate behaviour may result in removal.
     

 

7. Media

  • We may use photos, videos, or other media featuring your name or likeness for marketing and promotion across our platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Substack, our website, and others.
     

 

8. WhatsApp Community

  • Hate speech or abusive content will not be tolerated.
     

  • We may remove members at our discretion if behaviour conflicts with our community values.
     

  • Members may not promote third-party businesses, events, apps, or products without written permission.
     

 

9. Event Liability

  • Attend at your own risk.
     

  • Wednesdays is not responsible for:
     

    • Personal injury, illness, or allergic reactions;
       

    • Misconduct or harassment by other attendees;
       

    • Loss or damage to personal property;
       

    • Any other incident during events.
       

  • You agree to take reasonable care of yourself and others.
     

  • You also agree to indemnify Wednesdays for any claims arising from your actions during events.
     

 

10. Termination

  • We may terminate membership or access to Services at any time, without notice or refund, if you act in bad faith or receive multiple complaints from other members.
     

 

11. Changes to Wednesdays

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Services, introduce new features, or restrict access.
     

  • We will try to provide notice for material changes that affect you, but this may not always be possible.
     

 

12. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wednesdays is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Services.
     

  • Your statutory consumer rights under UK law are not affected.
     

 

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
     

  • Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
